Setup guidance
Google Cloud Interconnect Setup Guide
Deploy Google Cloud Interconnect via FPT international backbone and partner hubs.
Partner model
FTI connects to cloud providers through partner hubs for SLA assurance and optimal routing.
Implementation overview
Deploy Partner Interconnect by creating VLAN attachments and configuring BGP with FTI/partner interconnect fabric.
Official doc: Create VLAN attachments.
Direct connectivity from FPT infrastructure
- AWS: direct connectivity in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia.
- OCI: direct connectivity in Singapore.
- GCP: direct connectivity in Singapore.
- Other clouds/regions: via partner hubs (PCCW, Megaport, Equinix, Epsilon).
Prerequisites
- GCP project with Interconnect permissions.
- VLAN, IP ranges, ASN/BGP, and region details.
- Bandwidth and redundancy requirements.
Implementation steps
- FTI provisions partner connectivity and shares technical parameters.
- Create VLAN attachments in GCP and share details with FTI.
- FTI configures partner side and brings up BGP.
- Validate SLA and complete acceptance.
Acceptance checklist
- VLAN attachments are ACTIVE.
- BGP up; routing and throughput meet SLA.
- Monitoring and alerts enabled.
Deliverables
- Configuration checklist and acceptance report.
- Performance test results.
- Operations support contact.
